"Whatever inspiration is, it's born from a continuous 'I don't know”
- Wislawa Szymborska-
Inspiration, spiritual, creativitystate of mind, the pursuit of something sublime, something great. Impulse, vision, spark, fire, passion, genius ... in the Internet dictionary I found 163 synonyms of the word "inspiration" - how it is ?- you asked. Is it necessary to create? When it comes and how? Well…I’m going to tell you little bit about it :))
I get many private messages with questions about how my daily work looks like. I’ m very happy, that you are interested in the details of my creations. Thank you for these questions. I will reply in this text for some questions, but some topics require a longer discussion, so soon I will make a new posts about it.
You've asking me if I can plan my work or I have to wait for a flow? Where I get my inspirations? What I feel when I paint? If I like listen to the music or prefer silence? If I’m satisfied about my artworks? Maybe I will start telling you about the flow, because where the flow is - creation starts ;) and the rest of things will come later :)
In fact, it is impossible to plan it. You just have to trust yourself and believe, that everything will come to you in the right time and right moment (I’m using this rules also in life). Sometimes, I’m waiting for a flow for a few days or even weeks. But once if it comes - I can paint all day and all night ;) Of course, when I don’t feel any great inspiration, I still doing my things, not just sitting and waiting. I try to paint every day, practice is very important, it's also waken a great flow. But really, I never know when it will happen. Usually it comes to me unexpectedly, for example - over a pot of soup :) and then I leave the kitchen in a hurry ;) And then yes -I have some plan in my head - but it not always works, because when I paint, I turn off my mind and I just trust my feelings and intuition - I think this is the most important thing. Pablo Picasso said about intuition, that it is like having a carrier pigeon with a message, landing on your balcony - “The important thing is knowing that the pigeon has arrived, you don’t have to unroll the message and read it.”
As I wrote to you in my post #01, traveling is my second passion and for sure the biggest source of inspirations. Usually, during the travel, new ideas, subjects, shapes or color combinations come up in to my head. Also, I have to admit, that nature is very fascinating for me, colors of the nature are wonderful. Especially I love to look at birds and their incredible colors, they are just amazing! Don’t they? Birds fascinated me since I remember. When I was a kid, one of my favorite books was bird bible. I also collected egg shells and nests which I found in the forest :) I still like to watch on birds, I like their freedom. From love to birds and to freedom, my collection of golden birds came up in last summer of 2016. I remember exactly the time, when I was going to sleep, I closed my eyes and I saw golden birds among delicate branches and pink flowers. I felt like - 'this is it'! I wanted to get up and start to paint it, but I was too tired, I just made some sketches in my notebook and wrote my thougths. The next day I painted the first painting I do not force the inspiration, I'm just waiting for something that will make me emotionally excited, curious. It could be anything - places, beautiful interior, book, some picture, movie. And sometimes inspiration just comes to my soul just like that. To create, I definitely need an emotions, very different emotions :) But for sure most positive. There is no "pain of the soul” inside me, from which usually difficult subjects arise. I always say that - I create positive art because I feel so. There is a lot of good energy inside me, I have state of mind full of positive thougts and deep reflections. I’m motivated, curious and also I feel touched sometimes - specially when I watchsome kids movies with my children. We have our favorite titles, which touch and motivate me in the same time.
And here, I can answer you to the question, about the music. Sometimes I need it, sometimes not. It depends what I want to paint. One day, when I feel more quiet, I use light brushes and I like to create delicate elements - like my golden birds, flowers - then I listen mostly meditation music, or yoga music. Also some chillout, smooth jazz, r'n'b. But when I need to use big brushes, spatula and I feel abstraction in my hand, then I like to listening more energetic music. Usually I choose soundtracks from my favorite movies. I love music from Hans Zimmer, Howard Shore and Harold Faltermeyer.
Paintings, feelings, energy..
Finally, the question is - how do I feel (or what I feel) when I paint? Am I happy with my artworks? Am I satisfated? Well.. Because my paintings are very different and I use many techniques, I try look at every artwork in a different way. Just after the finish and when I see them after a long time. Some paintings I would like to paint again, there are also some painting, which I miss. One thing is for sure - inside every my artwork you can find a lot of good energy. During creation I always have positive state of mind, I never paint with negative emotions, I can't imagine it, because I know, that after all, that painting will hang at someone's house and emanate this energy. I care about it, this is very important for me. I feel full of happienes, I feel balance, high vibration and harmony with myself, with life. I am full of faith and optimism, I want to share this energy with you. So far, I think my art is being received in this way, which motivates me to continue acting.
The biggest reward
You know, I really like those square, instagram, little windows, through which we can look to each other every day :) I'm very happy when I get messages that I inspired you to act, to make a change, to make a new (or back to the old one) goals... Really, this is greatest reward for me! It's wonderful that you are! Thank you!
