Painting is not just a simple decoration on the wall, it is a clear and visible element that we look at everyday in our home, office, our space. My goal is to create a work of art that will intensify the energy of interior spaces, awaken positive feelings and will be suitable with elegant interiors. The style of my paintings are mostly abstract compositions large in size, usually I use my favorite golden color and 24 carat gold petals. I create only using highend quality oil paints, canvases, which I use are hand-maded from high quality linen. My favourite tool is a painting knife. White shirt is my own blank canvas, that’s why I wear it when I’m painting. My name is Iva Bialopiotrowicz, I live in Poland, I am 33 years old.

My motto:

„What I dream of is an art of balance, of purity and serenity, devoid of troubling or depressing subject matter, a soothing, calming influence on the mind, something like a good armchair which provides relaxation from physical fatigue”

Henri Matisse

My Story

My inspiration started in Hong Kong and China. I was traveling a lot last years and I was inspired by the interiors of the Langham Hotels. There are very special places, where you can stay in a elegant interiors surrounding by the art. There are many art pieces placed around the hotels. I can say - it's like a mini art gallery. Langham Place in Hong Kong boasts a contemporary Chinese art collection with more than 1500 artworks displayed on all levels of the hotel, which fit perfectly into their interiors and give special atmosphere.

My fascination with Hong Kong and the curiosity it provoked as well as open mind for the new changed my attitude towards creating, gave me courage. Being there I understood that art may be for everyone and that there are places in the world where it will suit, add beauty to its surroundings, make people stop and wonder, and surprise. I understood that this is the art I want to make – the art designated for interiors used every day and not for cold museum halls or galleries. I discovered myself anew, defined myself, determined the way that I want to follow and that I have successfully continued to walk by now. With all this inspiration inside me I came back to painting.
